Tru Records

One of Denver’s newest additions to the vinyl scene, Tru Records officially opened its doors in June 2026 after months of anticipation with their Grand Opening on June 5th, 2026. This new shop focuses on buying, selling, and trading records while also working to build a community around music, collecting, and local events. The owners have consistently emphasized creating a welcoming space for music lovers rather than simply operating another retail store. The shop looks clean and uncluttered with bins for records and shelves of CDs. Well organized and upscale, the shop it features Rock, Funk, Jazz, Hiphop and more.

Tru Records also actively buys record collections and appears committed to helping collectors find new homes for albums that deserve a second spin. Their location on South Federal adds another destination for vinyl hunters exploring Denver’s growing record store landscape.

Though I haven’t had the chance to visit Tru Records yet, it’s on my list for this weekend.  From everything I’ve seen online and through their social media, they seem passionate about records and building a music-focused community. After I visit, I’ll update this post.
